NATASCHA MARIA

A photographic journey, a portrait of the great blue of Greece. Every photograph reflects the soul of the Greek sea. Natascha Maria is the observer, communicating with the wind and the sea. Her photographs capture the mood of the great blue and tell the ever-changing story of the sea. The photographs were taken on the Athens Riviera, Paros and Antiparos.

Natascha Maria’s passion for photographing the blue sea began in 2012. She moved to Athens, and her photographic journey quickly evolved after she took up windsurfing. The Greek sea became her teacher, playmate and colleague.

Natascha studied art at the Royal Academy in Antwerp. She has held several group and solo exhibitions in Greece and Belgium. She also took part in the photo and music project “Reflets”, supported by the Belgian Embassy in Greece, at the French Institute in Athens.
